The £30 million Lincoln Transport Hub for City of Lincoln Council is a significant regeneration project transforming the city centre and providing a state-of-the-art bus station, 1,000 space multi-storey car park, café and new public realm.

“I am delighted by the finished product, it is a beautiful bus station and a huge contrast with the old one..." Councillor Ric Metcalfe, Leader - City of Lincoln Council
“I am biased but it really doesn’t look like a car park. The design fits in with the landscape. It’s very subtle. It’s something to be proud of for years to come in Lincoln." Angela Andrews, Chief Executive - City of Lincoln Council.

Jury comment: Lincoln Central is an example of the car park as civic architecture. It forms a vital element of a new transport hub and also serves as the gateway to the regeneration of the city centre. The building has been designed to complement Lincoln’s historic fabric, and in doing so, enhances the city.
